The bug started young for me. I listened to JFM, Solar & Horizon radio at the age of 13. I loved the soul, disco, funk, and groove they played. I was hooked.
By age 15, the house scene exploded in the West End. We found ourselves smack in the middle of it all, the club nights were explosive!! Our choices were clubs like Future, Trip, Shoom, Rage, The Wag, Milk Bar, and Clink.
After a few crazy years, the soulful side of the house became my preferred choice for partying and collecting. My love of up-tempo dance tracks is deeply rooted. Nowadays, it is no surprise I’ve found myself playing and collecting many of the classic tunes I loved growing up.
